B&W Tek, Inc. is a fast growing small business and is always looking for motivated engineers and staff members who are willing to grow with the company. 

You have to be skilled at understanding electro-optics, lasers or related technologies, but the exact kind of systems' tools you have used in the past are less important. No matter how impressive your list of tools, in a few years you will need to get familiar with new technology.

Instead, we are looking for engineers and production staff members who excel at the basic skills of understanding what a product needs to do and then rapidly creating an effective design solution or assembly procedure. You also need to enjoy learning and be able to absorb new material quickly. You'll know if you are the kind of person we are looking for: able to figure out a problem when those around you are confused, always a little more up on the latest advances, and excited about being able to solve a problem in a new way. 

Of course, we welcome traditional candidates who actually have the right skills mix for our current needs, but we are very open-minded and willing to listen to people with other backgrounds. 

We have high expectations: you must have decent communication skills, and show us that you have the desire and ability to rapidly develop the required skills if given the opportunity. In return, you will get to work in a dynamic small-company environment with seasoned veterans who will take the time to point you to what you need to make your project a success.
