SAVANNAH is specifically tailored for OEMs seeking to seamlessly integrate Raman spectroscopy into their systems without the need for building a complete optical setup. The design features a fully integrated Raman engine that encompasses a 785 nm excitation laser, patented ORS® sampling technology, and a spectrograph, all housed within a compact module.
This thoughtful integration reduces the complexity of optical alignment and simplifies mechanical and electrical integration, enabling a smoother transition from concept to prototype and ultimately to production. Better Sampling with ORS Orbital Raster Scan
Real samples are rarely uniform. Powders, polymers, biological materials, coatings, and process samples can vary from point to point, and static laser spots can concentrate energy in one location.
SAVANNAH uses ORS® Orbital Raster Scan technology to distribute the laser over a circular sampling pattern. This helps reduce localized heating and sample degradation while collecting a more representative Raman signal from heterogeneous materials.
