All-Inclusive Handheld Analyzer for Hazmat, Narcotics and More
The TacticID-GP Plus is a field-ready handheld Raman instrument designed for
rapid, nondestructive chemical identification to reduce operational uncertainty
and response time. Featuring an intuitive workflow and touchscreen, samples can
be nondestructively analyzed through opaque and transparent packaging, with
sample threat level displayed prominently for first responders, safety personnel,
law enforcement, bomb squads, customs and border patrol, and hazmat teams
to act quickly with minimal sample contact. The TacticID-GP Plus utilizes proven
Raman spectroscopy, allowing users to get real-time actionable identification
of samples with threat level and GHS and NFPA704 safety information clearly
The TacticID-GP Plus includes a comprehensive library of over 10,000 substances. In
addition, users have flexibility to create their own libraries for normal measurement
and for customized SERS measurement, respectively.

The TacticID-GP Plus comes standard with B&W Tek’s proprietary TacticID Operating System (TOS) installed within the unit, which allows for identification, library and data storage/transfer. The TacticID software (TID) is designed for use on PCs for data and report management, allowing customers to export data and generate reports.
Additionally, the TacticID-GP Plus provides Wi-Fi synchronization capabilities with network terminals in order to optimize time and resources. TacticID OS is also capable of data and results transfer as well as easy library export.
The optional TacPac adaptor allows for simple and accurate identification of heroin, fentanyl, synthetics and low concentration samples using Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS). System includes SERS library of numerous opiods and low dose narcotic substances, and capability for users to create SERS libraries.
A variety of easily-interchangeable sampling accessories optimized for different sample types are included. Included are the point-and-shoot adaptor, liquid vial holder and right angle adaptor for hands-free testing. The optional TacPac adaptor is used for low dose sample measurement. A polystyrene validation cap is used for quick system check
