Spectroscopy Applications and Tools to Advance Medicine and Biology
Join us on Tuesday, 6/19/12 at 11am EDT as renowned scientist Robert Alfano explores ways in which optical tools for spectroscopy are being applied to biomedical challenges. Prof. Alfano will discuss applications including brain assessment, cancer diagnosis and treatment, Alzheimer’s research, and multiphoton imaging–and explain what the approach enables that other methods cannot. He will also review spectroscopy tools available to advance research and clinical work. Among these is supercontinuum white light, which he co-discovered, and which is becoming increasingly important in life sciences. To register for this free webcast, click here.
